Safety
Who controls what
What nobody can change, and the few things the owner can.
Nobody can
- Take a vault's money
- Vaults have no owner. Money only leaves as a claim to a pass holder
- Change shares
- Fixed when the passes are minted
- Point a coin's fees elsewhere
- The vault is the fee wallet and has no way to hand it on
- Move your pass or listing
- Only you, or someone you approve
The owner can
Cassa has one owner wallet, which can only:
- Choose where the market's 2.5% goes.
- Change the key that releases passes held for X accounts.
- Update how passes are drawn, until that's frozen for good. It can't change any numbers behind the picture.
None of these touch fees, shares, passes or listings.
Pons
Cassa sits on top of Pons, so Pons's own rules still apply. Pons can change a coin's fee wallet only through its own admin process, which has a 3-day delay.
