How it works
Passes
A pass is an NFT that owns a fixed share of one coin's creator fees.
When a coin is registered on Cassa, its fees are cut into passes. Each pass is an NFT with:
- One coin. It only ever earns from that coin.
- A share. For example 50%. It never changes.
- Its own balance. What it has earned but nobody has claimed yet.

30%
20%

Rules that never change
- Number of passes
- 1 to 10 per coin, chosen once
- Shares
- Fixed at registration, always add up to 100%
- Who gets paid
- Whoever holds the pass when it's claimed
- Earnings
- Stay with the pass, not with a person
That last rule is the important one. Fees belong to the pass. If a pass changes hands, everything it hasn't paid out yet goes with it.
What's on a pass
The picture is drawn live by the contract, so it's always current:
- The ticker and share.
- The four coins of the logo, filled to the pass's share. Each coin is 25%, so a 50% pass shows two full coins.
- Waiting. What it can claim right now.
- Lifetime. Everything this pass has earned since the coin started, including what earlier holders already claimed.
- A status label. Shows For sale while listed, or Held for X while it waits for an X account.
Wallets and marketplaces show the same picture.
